From Dec. 1 to Dec. 15, trappers may apply for special permits to trap muskrats on state waterfowl management areas. The trapping season for beaver and mink is Oct. 31 to April 30, except in Summit, Morgan, Daggett. Duchesne, Uintah, Sanpete and Wasatch Counties, where the season opens Oct. 3. In Wasatch and Sanpete Counties, the season continues con-tinues to May 15. Small areas in Cache, Rich, Daggett, Dag-gett, Utah and Wasatch Counties will be closed again to all beaver and mink trapping. Summit County east of Highway 150 and north of Hayden Peak campground has also been added to the list of areas closed to beaver and mink trapping. Marten may be trapped Oct. 31 to Feb. 28. The season for kit fox is Oct. 31 to Dec. 31. Badger and weasel may be trapped Oct. 31 to March 31. Skunks may be trapped year round. There is no open season for lynx, wolverine, otter or black-footed black-footed ferret. A trapping license of $20 is required for trapping bobcat, kit fox and all protected protec-ted furbearers, except skunk, badger and weasel. However, if skunks, badgers, bad-gers, or weasels are to be used for commercial purposes, pur-poses, a trapping license is required. Muskrats are not protec- |
