Show !Mlml9lniiif Prospector Burglary Reported Ruth Jackson of 2174 Sunrise Circle told officers September 9 her home had been burglarized. Assorted personal belongings turned up missing valued at $195. Police investigators could find no signs of forced entry. An investigation continued. Thieves Ransack House During the week Bruce McMullin's home at 2477 Cochise was burgfarized to the tune of $1,695. The items reported missing were typical of those taken during such robberies. Again police officers could find no evidence of forced entry. McMullin is not sure if the house was locked. Tools Taken On September 9, a carpenter's tool bag belonging to Dennis Evans vanished. The value of the missing tools was estimated by Evans at $250 approximately. Banjo Hit Again Main StrceCs Red Banjo Pizza Parlor was burglarized again this week. Two juveniles from Salt Lake were arrested outside the building after allegedly stealing money from coin boxes attached to game machines. The theft was discovered by Red Banjo owner Marvlou Toly. The Main St. restaurant was burglarized last week. Misc. Arrests PCPD officers arrested several persons during the week for public intoxication and dealt with one assault case. A man claimed his friend punched him in the nose at 7-Eleven while another man was arrested at Sweetwater Condoshare trying to find a "warm place to sleep". He said he had been at the Rusty Nail. Fig Tree Vanishes On August 29. an 8 ft. fig tree wrapped in a blanket disappeared from the parking lot behind the Young Apt. (now called the Dudler Bldg.). The tree was owned by Mary Hogan of 801 Park Avenue and reportedly valued at $75. Missing Bike An expensive racing bicycle owned by James O'Connor of 176 Main St. was stolen September 1 from in front of his residence. The bike was chained to a stairway when it was taken and valued at $625. |
