Show Birdie Opens Friday at Prospector "Bye Bye Birdie" opens Friday night at the Prospector Prospec-tor Square Theatre. The musical comedy stars Susan .larman and James Donner and features cast members of all ages. A number of students from Park City High School and the Carl Winters Middle School will star in the upcoming Kimball Art Cen-terIntcrmountain Cen-terIntcrmountain Actor's Ensemble production. Out of the cast of 27, sever of the performers attend tht local high school and three attend the Carl Winters Middle School. Jcre Calmes, 11, is the youngest person ever to be cast in an Intermountain Actor's Ensemble En-semble production. As Randolph Ran-dolph MacAfee, he has one of the 10 leading roles. Amy Finegan, currently a student at Park City High School, will play Kim MacAfee, the teenager chosen to be kissed by rock star Conrad Birdie. Other students cast include Heidi Burnett. Stephanie ' Burnett. Erin Calmes, Mike Draper. Belinda Brown. Randy Ran-dy Shcya. Roll Sandberg.' and Jillbctte Fletcher. "Bye Bye Birdie" is the first performance in the Kimball Art Center's performing per-forming arts season for 1981-82. The play will run September 18. 19. 24. 25. 26. and October I, 2, and .3.
