Of the four previous WPSR events this year, Forland and Perillat had each won two. Because of the tournament format of the dual slalom challenge (pairs of racers face each other in four rounds of elimination), Perillat andi For- Skiers try to land as soon as possible to regain control. land have found themselves repeatedly head-to-head in direct competition. With .a hearty Norwegian cheer, For- land accepted $3,500 and a -trophy as overall winner of the event. Perillat will have an opportunity to even the, score at Mammoth Mountain March 22-23. The SunGer Pro Ski Racing Tour is the third largest tour for women in professional sports, with prize irioney totalling $165,000 to be 1 awarded this year. In addition, to individual competition, three teams sponsored by K2, Dynastar and Rossignol "are competing for the "Team Title." Among these world class competitors, Park City can boast of its own uppoming woman pro racer, Priscilla Johnson. Though Johnson did not qualify as one of the sixteen finalists in either event, she, is not discouraged. "1 love it," she said of racing with the tour. "I want to do it until I'm thirty."
