Council Receiving Applications Mayor Jack Green reports that the City has received over 70 applications for the job of Park City Manager now being advertised throughout the west. May Green said that Councilmen will be shortly going through the applications with a new City Manager possibly hired within one or two months. He added that the City has also received an application for the position of Building Inspector. Currently Rick Jentzsch, Park City's Finance Director is acting as City Manager and Salt Lake County is providing building inspection and plan check services on a contractual basis. Water Shortages May End Soon s , - ' . . : A pressure reducing valve for the new Park Meadows well has arrived in Park City which will hopefully elimihate the need for watering restrictions in North town. The restrictions , were placed in effect over a month ago by Mayor Green because of dwindling water levels in the Thaynes Canyon Reservoir. Once the Park Meadows well is operational it will -' provide water to that area of Park City and relieve the heavy demand on the Thaynes Canyon system. . 7 );. s&, .iltif !-': .
