Show Isabella Osika Succumbs Isabella Esther Dabling Osika, 62, died Oct. 26, 1979 in Salt Lake City after a long illness. - Born Nov. 22, 1916 in Evanston, Wyo. to George A. and Lila McQueen Dab-ling. Dab-ling. She moved to Park City with her family at an early age and attended Park City schools where she graduated from high school with high scholastic honors, representing represent-ing her class as valedictorian. valedictor-ian. She married E. LaMar Osika Aug. 16, 1939. While in residence at Keetley, Wasatch County, she was noted in political circles, having held the office of President of the Wasatch County Women's Republican Club and was a member of a Forum Club. She was a member of the Utah Chapter of the American Federation on the Blind, and will be remembered for her lectures given at schools, churches, and civic clubs on the use of a guide dog and blindness. She was member of All Saints' Episcopal. Survivors: husband, Salt. Lake City; one son Edwin L. Oskia, Salt Lake; two brothers broth-ers H. Robert Dabline and G. Harvey Dabling, both of Ogden; one sister Mrs. William F. (Ada) Buck, Castro Valley, Calif. Memorial Services were held Oct. 10 at 11am at All Saints' Episcopal Church. |
