Prevention Center Director Resigns Marsha Wellever has resigned re-signed her post as Director of the Prevention Center where she has ably guided youth-oriented youth-oriented programs for the past three years. "I am going to fulfill a fantasy," she said. "For years I have wanted to travel through Europe with my son Steve, living out of a VW Camper." : Marsha plans to begin her travels next month : beginning begin-ning with a trip to Ft. Lauderdale to visit with her mother. "From there we are going to the Bahamas so Steve can see where he was born and after that we want to travel at our own leisure. ' ' Marsha's exceptional talents working with people will not be completely laid aside during her travels. She has applied for a civil service position as a social worker with the military in Ger-. Ger-. many. "And after that my . plans are open. 1 hope to go 'to graduate school at some ' point," she added. The future world traveler's contributions will be missed in Park City. " ; Ms. Wellever also served as President of the Ladies Golf League. President of the Snow Country Condominium Board and Chairman of this year's Miss Miner's Day. Marsha was involved with a segment of the community that many of us overlook. Most of the development is aimed at people over 21. The Prevention Center is currently reviewing several qualified candidates for Director. |
