Cusiodian Is Appointed Owing a debt of gratitude, Park City will bid farewell to Rick Mcllwaine the Memorial Mem-orial Building's custodian for the last eight months, when he departs for school this week. Mcllwaine joined the Memorial Building staff when public sentiment had all but given the building up. The building had been through three custodians in a period "of a month and the entire" town was issuing complaints about the sad state of affairs of the building which had meant so much to them. Mr. Mcllwaine had the old building shaped up in no time and more and more people began to use the building once again for public meetings meet-ings and gatherings. "It's hard to leave and it's hard to stay," commented comment-ed Mcllwaine, thinking about his current goal of finishing college. "I will miss all the people I have grown to know and who knows, maybe I'll come back after finishing college. Mr. Mcllwaine plans to major in music and musical therapy at Bellingham, Wash. Replacing Mcllwaine will be Pierce Cassedy, an ambitious am-bitious young man from North Carolina. "I just needed a job," said Mr. Cassedy, "And this one seemed like a good one." Mr. Cassedy indicated that he will try hard to keep the building up to standards of the recent months. |
