The stunt men will perform in Park City this weekend. Stunt Men at Work This Weekend summer at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, attracting thou sands of tourists to the town square each day. Don't be surprised this weekend if a squirrely cowboy cow-boy steps up to a man in a dark suit and says "Alright Earp, I'll see you at the O.K. Corral at high noon." The UtahStunt Men Association Assoc-iation will be giving a demonstration dem-onstration of their talents, which include reliving many of the wildest times the old West ever knew, in Park City this weekend. Their show will be at the site not yet decided de-cided upon, where they will perform five separate acts-one acts-one each hour beginning around high noon. The stunt men who previously pre-viously worked and were acclaimed ac-claimed all over Arizona are trying to establish ParkCity as their headquarters putting put-ting on shows here each weekend throughout the summer sum-mer months. For their services the 'boot hill gang" is asking $5 from each Park City merchant mer-chant per week. 'That's Just" enough to cover our gas and gun powder," says the organization's or-ganization's vice president, Garth Hooley. According to Mr. Hooley, the show is designed de-signed mainly to attract tourists to the area which it has done with much success in Arizona. The showthis weekend will be performed free of charge to give the merchants a chance to see the stunt men do their stuff. Already 10 businesses have agreed to pay the group the $5 weekly fee. The stunt men, have apparently ap-parently set up several radio spots promoting their show, and have been covered by both Salt Lake newspapers as well as a newspaper in Provo. The group has received a firm commitment from the City to perform on Labor Day with the City footing the bill. A similar program is offered of-fered each day during the |
