Representative for District Number One: Dorothy Corbin Clark 209. Ronald W. Inkley 265. In the race for U.S. Senator on the American Party ticket Bruce Bangerter received 105 votes while Kenneth Rex Larsen got 64. South Summit School District Representative Precinct Number Two top vote getter was Phillip Mitchell with 58. He will face a run-off against William Thomas who received re-ceived 53 votes. Stanley D. Leavitt received 26 votes. In South Summit School District Precinct Number One, George Garold Atkinson led the field with 50 votes. Morlin C. Van Tassell was second with 45. J. Edwin Ure received 14 votes. Mr. Atkinson and Mr. Van Tassell will square-off in the general election. Summit voters cast their ballots as follows for Justice of the Supreme Court: Judge E. R. Callister, Jr., incumbent, 238; D. Clayton Fairbourn 101; Jefferson E. Le Cates, 22; Richard J. Maughan 269-. The elected Judge will serve for a 10 year term. |
