An open house will be given giv-en in her honor on September Septem-ber 21 at her home, 512 East 9th North, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m., no gifts please. Mrs. Tree was born September Sep-tember 20, 1884, in Summit County, a daughter of George M. and Sarah A. Stanley Pace. She married E. J. Tree, November 7, 1905. He died June 27, 1963. She spent most of her life in and around Park City until 1958 when she and her husband hus-band moved to Bountiful because be-cause of Mr. Tree's health. She has served as Young Women's Association, Primary, Pri-mary, and Relief Society president in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also served many church teaching capacities as well as serving in several sev-eral offices of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mrs. Tree is the mother of seven living children, 32 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
