TEACHERS FOR PIMICJCiOlS Superintendent Mills is getting ready fur school days. The assignment assign-ment of teachers for the various schools in the city was given to the board of education and passed upon last night, and things generally are ready for the opening of the fall term. New books for the libraries of the various classes have teen purchased end others recommended , repairing and renovating the rooms and buildings build-ings Is about completed, teachers assigned as-signed to every school In the city, from the high school down, have been appointed, and nothing is wanting but tho arrival of Sept. and Ihe pupils. At 4:1." o'clock this afternoon all the Instructors of the city will meet the members of the board of education, educa-tion, Mr. Mills, Dr. IXwns and Dr. ; Bates, the latter being the proposed ' medical examiner, to discuss many I nuestlons Interesting to teachers and members of the board of education.
