Show HE VISITED NEVADA FOREST Assistant District Forester Homer E. Fenn of the grazing department has just returned from the Nevada national forest at Ely. Nevada, where he spent a couplo of weeks looking j into tho proposed eliminations of lands that are embraced in the forest, for-est, but that arc considered to bo purely of a grazing nature. Mr. Fenn was met at Ely by Associated As-sociated National Forester Albert F. Potter, they returning to Ogden together. to-gether. Before the resignation of Chief Forester Glfford PlBChot, Mr. Potter had charge of the grazing department de-partment of the entire national forest for-est BorvJce, but under the leadership of Forester Henry S. Graves, be, was appointed to the position of associate forester. He Is well versed in all the branches of the forest service in this country, having come from tho ' Pinchot Echooi and being largely imbued im-bued with Mr. Pinchofs ideas regard in the conservation of natural resources, re-sources, which embraces protection to timber belts, the protection of watersheds wa-tersheds and the preservation, of grazing lands. |
