The first method, which Is the cheapest, Is broadcast sowing, md the seeds of native trees aro scattered scat-tered broadcast over large areas. The second methed also consists of sowing the seed, but in special locall les where certain varieties of trees ire known to thrive. When both of these fall, then reforestation re-forestation is accomplished by transplanting trans-planting the nursery stock. TI1I3 plan is very expensive and is resorted to only when absolutely necessary.
