Show sorts were won and lost by various sorts of people, but the winners and losers all voted Mr. Wilson a Jolly host and a good fellow. The Huntsvllle band rendered pleasing pleas-ing programs in the afternoon and evening. The luncheon was mostly on the "picnic" style, although Mr. Wilson selected a fiw to sit around his feast board to enjoy one of those olden time neighborly meals. i U Tho dance In the evening was one of the big features of the day. Tho attendance was good, and everyne seemed to enjoy himself. "Neighbors' Day" took yesterday with those present, and a general intention in-tention to attend the next one was expressed. I NEIGHBORS DAY AT HERMITAGE Yesterday was Neighbors' Day at ' the Hermitage resort, In Ogden canyon. can-yon. I Everybody was there. That Is, all the neighbors were there from Ilunts-ville, Ilunts-ville, Eden and Liberty and others came from the city of Ogden, and th camps in the canyon nil joined In the ! festivities with a zest that made It one to bo remembered as most successful suc-cessful from a "'neighborly" point of view. The folk from up the canyon jour neyed to Blllv Wilsons place In all sorts of outfits. Some made the trip in the time-honored hay ruck; others In the Sundav wagon, while a few-dressed few-dressed themselves all up and rode In a real buggv. Tbe town people wont in street, ears, automobiles, etc.. but they all got there, and they all had a good time, t In the afternoon there were horse races chiefly among the agricultural neighbors' steeds. There were many of them, so it would be hard to say who won and who didn't. There was a prize waltz, and a prize "step dance" for ladles of 50 or more years. The latter event was won by Mrs. Magineltl of Salt Lake one of Mr. Wilson' campers. Races of various |
