Show GRAND CIRCUIT RESULTS NEW YORK. Aug. 251 The third day of the grand circuit' meeting at the Emp.re city track brought out In two of the three events the largest fields of the meeting. A high wind prevailed, precluding any record time. General II., tho hav stallion by Com-bineer, Com-bineer, won the 2:09 class trot In strallght heats, and Teasll and Alice Roosevelt divided second and third money after close finishes. The Hungarian stallion Willy, driven by H. A. Watterson, won both heats and first money In the 2:1 class trotting to wagon In faultless style, with Direct Tone, driven by James Butler, the owner of the track, stepping into second plac Split heats occurred In the Beacon, .stakes for pacers, 2:05 class. Bason Whipps won the first and Ess H, Kay, the second. Only the winners win-ners of heats were allowed to go In the third heat, and -while tho starter d.d not give them the word the two flew away, neither driver having heard the bell. Ess H Kay finished first and after som discussion it was mutually agreed that Esr H. Kay shnuld get the first mooey. Although scheduled for five days, the meeting will end tomorrow, with the Matron futurity stakes of $15,0oo for three year-old pacers; a 2.20 clans for pacers and the Bonner Memorial stakes for $2,500 for trotters In tho tho 2:05 class.
