Max Florence, Flor-ence, of the Florence theaters, has run afoul on the financial rocks io the extent of ?:'.C.0U0 His interests are now In bis creditors' hands. Som merchants have stopped their extension exten-sion of credit to him and his show hduses. A meeting of the creditors was held this morning in the Luna theater to decide as to the methods of settling Mr. Florence's accounts to the satisfaction of himself and his creditors. It was stated that his liabilities lia-bilities amounted to not over $36,000, to cover which there are assets said to fully cover that amount, and that tho plan Is to liquidate and settlo without taking the matter into court. 'I his, It Is believed, can be done. Mr. Florence has turned over considerable consider-able property to them. A committee was appointed to consider plans and report at a later called meeting.
