Show SEPARATION OF THE CONTROL OF HAWLEY LINES Chicago, Nov. 12 The final step In the separation of the management of tne Hawley lines-the Chicago & Alton, Al-ton, the Toledo, St. Louis and West tin (Clover Leaf), the Minneapolis & St. Ixiuls and the Iowa Central, was ti.ken yesterday when separate traffic departments were established of the Chicago & ltou and Cloccr Leaf and lor the Minneapolis & St. Louis and Iowa Cenart.l S. G. Lutz, formerly general freight f.gent at Chicago, has been appointed traffic manager of the latter roads, wkh offices at Minneapolis. Geo G. Charlton, passenger traffic manager, and C. A. King, freight traffic traf-fic manager, formerly of all of the io;oJs. have been withdrawn from tho Western lines and retain their positions posi-tions on the Chicago & Alton and Clover Ix?af. The move places the roads In the same position they were before the consolidation was tried out. T. P. Shunts remains presideut of the four roads and Edwin Hawley chairman of the board. |
