DEER TO THE WEST OF OODEN While hunting geese and ducks west of Plain City, near the Great Salt I.ke, George Folk man and a company of four other hunters yesterday yester-day ran across a fine six-pronged buck deer that had evidently bct-n 1 frightened from the mountains by hunters The party made a desperate effort lo get close enough to the deer to shoot him with their Khotguns, but they failed In tbelr attempts. There was no escape for the frightened animal ani-mal to the wM. the Bear river bay to the north formed a scml-clrcle to tho east, and the men covered the south and southeast way to escape.
