Craven, wbo&e postoffko address Is Ogden, Utah, has made application In accordance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1907, as amended by the Sessions Laws of Utah, 1909. to appropriate twenty (20) cublc-feot per second of water lrom the North Branch of the South Fork of Ogden River, Weber County, Utah. Said water will be diverted at a point which bears north 11 degrees de-grees west 2.200 feet from the south quarter corner of Section 23. Township 7. north, Range 5? east, Salt Lake base nnd meridian, from where it will bo conveyed by means of a pipe line for a distance of 12,f.00 feet and there used during the period from January 1 to December 31. inclusive, of each year, to develop power for tho purpose pur-pose of electric lighting and propelling propel-ling machinery at Ogden, Utah. In addition to the quantity of w3ter above specified, applicant Intends to appropriate twenty (20) acre-feet of water which will be stored during the period from January 1 to December 31, Inclusive, of each year, In a reservoir re-servoir embraced inSection 23. Township Town-ship 7 north. Range 3 ,ast, Salt Lake baso of meridian. ' The water so stored will be released whenever needed during the entire year at the point above described and conveyed by means of a pipe line for a distance dis-tance of 12, G00 feet and used in connection with the twenty (20) cubic-feet. After having been so dl verted and used, the water will be returned to the natural channel of the stream, at a point which bears north 59 degrees. 54 minutes wct 2.810 feet from the southeast corner of Section 31. Township 7 north. Range 3 east. Salt Lake base and meridian. This application Is designated desig-nated in the State Engineer's office as No. 3040. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons rea-sons thereof, must be made by affidavit affi-davit in duplicate and filed in thl3 office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice CALEB TANNER.
