Show JAPAN STEAMER OFFICIALS ARRIVE Salt Lake. Aug 10. Another gath-erolng gath-erolng of high officials of the Western Pacific and Rio Grande is to take place Wednesday. General Manager Horace W. Lomax of the Western Pacific. Pa-cific. Arriving Wednesday alteruoon will be Assistant General Passenger Agent Ag-ent F. A. Wadleigh lu is host of a party of four or five directors In the Toyo Kaisen Kalsha, the Japanese steamship line which recently made the sensational trans-Pacific alliance with the Western Pacific, after having for years worked with the Southern Pacific These gentlemen are presumably presum-ably returning to the Orient after having hav-ing completed their plans for the alliance al-liance with the New York heads of the Gould system. They will b accorded ac-corded every attention while here, in eluding the regular sightseeing trips, and will leave by special train to go over tlie line of the new road to the Pacific. |
