President Browning declared that lie was opposed to the granting of a 1 new 1. cense anyway, as the council ! had gone on record to tho effect that no more new ealoon licenses were to bo allowed In Ogdcn. Councilman Dana was of the opinion that the new ordinances annulled all previous actions taken by the council and that tho license should bo granted. President Browning then called Councilman Austin to the chair and proceeded to give other reasons why he was opposed to granting the license. li-cense. The matter was voted upon and was lost, Browning, Barker. Flygare and Wilson voting "no," and Dana. Austin and Larson voting "yes." Nino old licenses were renewed. |
