Show MOTHERS HOLD USTHEETING SALT LAKE. May 15 The Utah Congress of Mothers met at the home of Mrs. W. S. McCorlmck Saturday afternoon. The attendance was large, a the meeting was the last of th" year. Mrs. C. E. Spalding spoke on the aunject, "The Child as a Teacher." i He said thai the child has taught the human race to love, to hope and to have faith. Dart, chairman of the committee for the Chapman memorial, reported that satisfactory progress being made In getting a bronze tablet for the library to commemorate M!a Chapman's labor In behalf of that Institution. In-stitution. The president announced that she had been Invited to attend and take port In the International conference con-ference for the education of the f anvil to be held In Rrussels AuguKt 20 to 25. Tills conference Is under the patronage pat-ronage of the Belgium government, and 300 dHexafes are to be In attendance, attend-ance, representing all the countries of the world. The meeting of the Mothers' Congress Con-gress will be held next year In the assembly room of Rowland hall, through the courtesy of the manage-ment manage-ment of that Institution. |
