Mr. Chambers stated that there was no reason why. If the laws were closely respected and there was no shooting or seining of fish for two years, why Weher county could not have an open season for trout fishing the year round He said that within the past year 1" 1,000 trout fry had been planted In lite waters of Webvr county. Mr. Chambers further stated that the associations, when organized throughout the state, would elect delegates dele-gates to a state convention and a l souirulttee would be appointed from the state organization to wait upon the legislature and secure netter laws for the protection of the fish and game of the state PROTESTING THE FISH ! Protective association was organized with the following officers: Oscar Couch, president; J. 1L Myers, vice-president; vice-president; J. B. Wallace, secretary and treasurer; Samuel Josi, director. The asooclatlon is organized for tho purpose of bettor protecting the fish and game of the cuiinty.
