Show DISASTROUS COAL UK EXPLOSION MANCHESTER. Eng. May 12 One hundred and thirty seven miners lost their lives today in an explosion in the Wellington coal mine at White Haven. Rescue parties succeeded in saving four men, but fire has broken out In tho workings, leaving practically practical-ly no hope for those still eniombed.
