Show TWELVE CARS WILL RACE ATTBRIGHTON 'Now York, May 13 Twelve fast cars, manned by noted drivers, will start at 8 o'clock tonight in the first 24 hour race of the senson at the Brighton Beach motordrome here. It will be tbe first speed contest In New-York New-York this year. The contesting cars with their crews are as follows - Stearns" No. I, Ralph Mulford and Cyrus Patsehke. Stearns No. 2, Frank Dearborn and Ray Howard. Bulck. No. 1, Louis Chevrolet and Arthur Chevrolet. Bulck, No. 2. Robert Burman aud George DeWitt. Marlon, Lewis Strang and J. Anderson. Ander-son. Cole. W. Endicolt and L. Edmonds. Houpt-Rockwell. Montague Roberts and Stanley Martin. Simplex Georgo Robertson and Al Poolo. Fiat Ralph DePalma and E. II. Parker. Selden Georgo Mack and Thomas McMabon. Rainier Louis Disbrow and Wally Owen. Croxton-Kecion W. C. Spinney and C. H. Lund. Seven cars entered bave appeared in previous 24 hour races and the other oth-er live axe comparative newcomers In long-distance racins. The Cole. Selden Sel-den and Croxton-Keelon have never been scn In track competition, and two, the Houpt-Rockwell and the Marlon, Mar-lon, are really trying their speed In competition for the first time. The contest represents a preliminary prelimin-ary outlay of $100,000 bv makers and promoters.
