HEAVY WORK ON SOUTHERN PACIFIC A. B. Corey of Ogden Given a Blanket Contract Covering the Exten sicn of Sidetracks Over Many Hundred Miles of Road Means Double Tracking of Harrimxin Line. A. B. Corey has h contract for extending ex-tending nearly aJl the sidetracks on tho Southern? Pacific from Ogden through Nevada, covering several hundred miles of work and involving u heavy outlay on the part of the Harrlman road. On Monday next he will start his first outfit west from Ogden to begin extensions and. from then on until late this fall. Mr. Corey will have sev eral large construction camps out on the line of the Southern Pacific. Thla Is virtually the first move In the double-tracking of the Southern Pacific from Ogden to Sacramento, as these extensions later will be merged Into one track. These improvements were made possible bv the large bond Issue voted Inst month and ore part of a. great campaign of railroad activity between this city and the coast.
