Show CONFERENCE WAS HELD SATURDAY A conference, lasting from Saturday morning until early Sunday morning, was held in the office of" Fred W. Genisch, superintendent of dining cars and hotels of the Oregon Short Line, which was attended by tho superintendents su-perintendents of dining cars and hotels ho-tels of Jive Harrlman roads Dow of the Illinois Central. Tho chief topics discussed were the construction of cars to give more room and the Improvement in the service. ser-vice. While nothing was advocated in relation to the building of larger cars, yet the superintendents were of the unanimous opinion that a greal rienl more room could be utilized In ihe remodeling of the kitchens and eiosets. No definite conclusions were leached, yet it U possible that many of the Improvements suggested and discussed will be adopted at an early i late by ihe various roads that were represented at the conference.
