Show JARBIDGE DISTRICT ' WILL BE LOW GRADE C. J. Perkins, of Buhl. Ida., one of the towns tributary to the now Jar-bldge Jar-bldge gold country, left Monday night for his hemo after several days, visit in Silt Lake city on business. Mr. Perkins is enthusiastic regarding regard-ing the poHslbllitles of Jarbidje as a coming j mining center, but along with his eathuslasm he carries i lino of conservatism which is refreshing after 60 much of "big talk" which has been corutog out of tho district. Mr. Perkins describes Jarbldge aa being a "high-grade low grade" proposition, prop-osition, acd as such, bo ttates. tho section promises to come to the front rapidly. Mr. Perkins believes that much actual development work will be under ay in the near future, and Ftates that on a recent visit la Reno. Ner., he learned that several milling plants had already been ordered for shipment to Jarbldgo. "The country rock looks to me like to much brick, but It is from samples of this red-colored stone that the values are being taken, the 'brick' when roasted bubbling out in spou of the real yellow metal." Mr. Perkins reports the presence of several Salt Lake mining men In the district, and states that throughout through-out Nevada parties are being outfitted outfit-ted to move into camp within the ceit month or six weeks. It is stated stat-ed that accommodations at Twin Falls, which eems to be. the chief Bupply point for Jarbldge. are already crowded to capacity, and the rnsh, at that, seems to have but Just started. |
