Smith; a member of tho board of directors, said he could neither affirm no deny the report from Minneapolis that 'a strike would be declared today unless the Great Northern and Northern Pacific railroads rail-roads granted the demand mode by the men last November. . It Is Intimated, however, that the vote on the two roads was complete, but as to the percentage in favor of or against a strike could not bo learned. The board of directors is In session and there may be some developments de-velopments late today. . . |
