Tho English Iabor party will place more than 450 candidates candi-dates for the house of commons In the field ' at the next general elcc-Ulons. elcc-Ulons. as compared with 361 candl-jdates candl-jdates at the 1918 election, according ito plans of the party leaders which have just been announced. The Labor leaders are elated over ! their successes In the last election and ithe Increased number of votes which Were forthcoming In manv of the 'country districts ot England. Some additional strength has been shown by jLabor candidates In the bye-elections, held in various constituencies since 1918. notably in city districts. Preparations for the forthcoming! election have been elaborated, and practically every district In the eoun-l ,try has already been organized.
