Dr. Jensen is tho nominee on the Republican Republi-can ticket. The statement issued by ' 'gden peopb tnt-n st I In educational affairs follows: "Too frequent changes in tho personnel per-sonnel of our state superintendent of publir instruction Is by no means conducive con-ducive to the best interests of our schools The interests and welfare of 180,000 school children of l'tah should j not be jeopardized by each and every turn of the political wheel. "Dr. C. N Jensen, the pres. nt In- cumbent of this high office, is a can- ; dldate for re-election on the Republican Repub-lican ticket. He Is not only one of the most highly educated men in our j state, but according to competent crit- 1 ics. one of the ablest and most practU I cal executives who has ever graced the office of state, superintendent. "Dr. Jensen believes that a state as well as an individual must live within its means. To this end, he has advocated ad-vocated the most rigid economy In school expenditures He stands for the strict regulation and supervision of all School work, to the end that tlir greatest efficiency may be secured With the least expenditure of money.
