II, national tennis champion, cham-pion, will lose the end of the middle finger of his right hand as the result of blood poison which followed a slight cut from a wire back stop received I while he was playing at Hrlgheton. Swftltloy, surgeon i at the Qermantown hospital, whi re Tllden has been for about two weeks, said that It was Impossible to save the finger down to the first Joint, ' but that h hoped thw remainder would heal successfully.
