Show START DEVELOPMENT OF SUSANNA MINE Excellont progress Is being made In opening up tho Susanna mining property prop-erty located In the Park Valley district, dis-trict, five miles west of Rosette, according ac-cording to L. H Kimball, stockman from that section, who arrived In Og-dn Og-dn this morning to confer with officials offi-cials of the forest service of district Four. A 30-ton mill Is In operation one hift per day, according to Mr. Kimball, Kim-ball, and excellent progress is being made In opening the ore bodies in the mine. The property has ben unwatcre,l below thr- tunnel level und drifts are being run on the various ore shoots )y-lD(r )y-lD(r in the vein for the purpose of blocking out enough ore to keep the mill running continuously, ho said. 1 The property is under th supervds- Ion of Earl Havenor of Salt Lake, and Is controlled by the E. B. Cxitchlow estate Of Salt Lake. According to Mr. Kimball, there has been Installed In the reduction plant a Huntington type mill, and an extraction extrac-tion bv amalgamation of approximately approximate-ly 90 per cent Is being made. One concentrating con-centrating table Is being used bolow the amalgamation tables and a largo portion of the amalgamation Is made In the mill proper. , David Hutchinson Ecclcs of Ogden has been retained by the company as master mechanic at the. property, according ac-cording to Mr. Kimball. |
