Show IDAHO TEACHER TURNS BANDIT, ROBS, CAUGHT IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Feb. 25. A masked bandit, formerly a school teacher at Palisade, Idaho, help up and robbed the assistant cashier, Deloss Launtzen, of the State bank at Victor, near here, of S184 while tho latter was in the bank alone, according to word just received here. Launtzen, Lau-ntzen, who was ordered into the vault, slipped a gun into the door, making it impossible to close it, and as soon as the robber got outside, ran after him and held him up, getting back the money. The bandit fainted shortly after being caught and his condition became so serious he was removed to Salt Lake where he is in a hospital to be examined for his sanity. |
