FfliSSi Excavating for Basement Is Under Way at Site on Twenty-fifth Street With excavating at the site of the new Weber Normal college gymnasium well under way, indications point to early beginning of construction work. I For the past throe dayp gangs of men and horses, equipped with scrapers and plows, have been removing enrth for the basement of the building. A larger force is expected to be at work within two weeks and with the completion com-pletion of excavating, the laying of cement ce-ment floors and walls for the basement will take place. With the new Central junior high school well under construction and with the Weber gymnasium started, two of the most modern buildings now being constructed in the west will be put on the same street Large steel beams, to be used in the i construction cf the. new Central junior high pchool, have arrived here and are now waiting until such parts of the building as are necessary before their j Installation, are completed.
