OCR Text	Show ou Slight Decrease in Beet Output Shown A slight decrease in sugar beet production In Utah Is shown In 1919 over 1918 in final figures announced yesterday. The figures show the 1919 production to be 101,025 tons as against 105,774 tons in 191S. The acreage in 1919 was 103,247, as compared com-pared with 81,717 the year preceding. Eighteen factories operated eighty-four eighty-four days. Extraction based upon weight of beets yielded a percentage of sucrose of 11.12 per cent, and the amount possible was 13. S 7 per cent. Tho average purity was 82.39 per cent.
