Show ANTI-SOCIALIST BILL PASSED AT ALBANY ALBANY, N. Y., April 24. Thf Walters-Fearon anti-Socialist bills were passed in the senate by a vote of 36 to 14. The assembly passed both measures a few days ago and they now go to the governor who is expected to veto them. One of the bills is intended to mak3 ineligible for public office any person per-son who is a member of a political organization which "spports or declares de-clares for principles or policies, which, if carried into effect would tend to endanger the existing government of state or nation." The other measure would exclude from the definition of "party" any organization supporting such principles. |
