Show sen m is IMPOSED ON BY I SOLICITOR Complaining that dome one is soliciting so-liciting money from Ogden citizens in the nape of the Salvation army, a protect was made thu morning to Th? Standard by Captain Gladys Kopp. who i warns all citizens that no campaign Is under way lor funds in this city, and- that any attempt to obtain funds In the name of the Salvation Army is necessarily fraudulent. It Is said that subscriptions are being be-ing solicited for the benefit of the soldiers and that the officers of thv Salvation Army will bp glad to have reported to them any effort to obiaiu funds under such pretenses. The following announcement in i signed form was given to The Standard Stand-ard by Captain Kopp this morning: "To the Public: We have been in fonned that some one is soliciting money in the name af the Salvation Army for the benefit of the soldiers Then is at this time no effort or campaign cam-paign of this kind going on and wo shall be glad if people will report to us any one soliciting in the name of tli- Salvation Army, unless ihv hae the proper authority given by the offi-' er r in ( haj-ge of ihe corps here.
