Show on Election and the j Clean-up Occupy j Time of Officials The chief activity in the city hall to-Iday to-Iday consisted of the work being in the 'office or City Recorder W J. Cntch- low, Sr. who. with bis office force, J was making haste to get out the elec- tion supplies for the city bond election elec-tion which takes place tomorrow, and (which is one of the most important 'events on the city calendar for the present year. All the othei offices except the street superintendents office were closed in honor of Arbor day. Street Supervisor C. H. Martin turned Ins teams over to the health department for the day in order lo assist 1n the clean-up. which is running far behind the schedule. The clean-up was Hrst scheduled for three weeks, one week to each district, mapped out, but rh' first district was noi half cleaned up at the end of the fust week last Saturday Sat-urday night.
