The commissioners commis-sioners found that with a three mill 1 devy the county will be short $45,000 1 of the funds noccssary to carry outj the state road program for this year. It was decided to determine whether federal aid could not bo obtained for, paving to be dono in Ogden canyon. During the meeting the Weber com- mlssloncrs brought up the question ' of why they had not been taken intoj confidence of the state commission and wanted to know why copies of tho pay roll In which the county of Weber was interested wore not furnished fur-nished tho board. They weer said to be particularly Incensed over the J hiring of automobiles at the rate of j $150 "a month in winter and the addl- tlonal expense of approximately $50 I a month, for supplies for the car. Commissioner M. P. Brown, who spoke for the Weber county board. ?ald tho board believed it was entitled to a duplicate copy of the payNroll for the road work in Weber county. He declared they were questioned by their constituents about the road work and were powerless to reply because of lack of information. It was decided by the road commission commis-sion to furnish the board with copies of the pay roll In tho future. |
