Show LOVE FOR GOOD CLOTHES CAUSES GIRL'S ARREST Annotta Martin, of Salt Lake, aged 29, was given a suspended sentence of 20 days by Judge D. R. Robertsi of the city court this morning. Miss Martin was alleged to have signed a check on the First National Na-tional bank of Pocatello, Idaho. No charge of forgery was made against her as she had presented checks which had no funds to back them. Charges against MJbs Martin were sworn to by tho "W. H. Wright & Sons store of this city, according to County Attorney J. B. Bates, who issued tho complaint, com-plaint, Miss Martin being accused of passing a "worthless chcok at that store for an expensive suit." Sho Is also alleged to have purchased pur-chased a hat at the Princess Millinery, Mil-linery, paying for hor purchase with a bad chock for $15. "When questioned this morning rogarding her employment, she claimed to have been without work since tho first of the year, stating that at that time she had enough money to get along with- out working. She claimed to havo friends in this city but refused to communicate with them. |
