Show INDUSTRIAL COURT LINCOLN, Neb., April 10 Creation by a future stato legislature of an industrial in-dustrial court to determine controversies controver-sies between employers and emplovcs in any business or vocation affected with a public interest will be possible in Nebraska if a constitutional provision provis-ion is adopted by the voters at a special spec-ial election next September 21. This is one of about forty other constitutional con-stitutional changes proposed by the I recent stale constitutional convention. The industrial commission, under the proposal's terms, would also have the power to enforce laws against "unfair business practices and unconscionable gains affecting the public welfare." Appeals to the supreme court from tho commission's final orders would be provided. nn |
