Show , Four Indictments Returned by Grand Jury in Sessions at Salt Lake SALT LAKE, April 12. After eight days deliberation the federal grand Jury has reported thirty-five indictments indict-ments to Judge Tillman D. Johnson of the United States district court. Sixteen Six-teen of the Indictments were made .public, the remainder not being announced, an-nounced, for reason that the defendants defen-dants are not in custody. Indictments returned follow: Wesley Wes-ley Hicks, special delivery messenger boy, charged with pilfering letters: Jo-scph Jo-scph Neff, Oscar Bloom and Mazutta Jefferson, operating stills; Frank Fisher, possession of opium; King Low, possession of opium; "Knockout" Brown and Lillian Hall, violation of the Mann act; Carl Linville. counter-felting counter-felting order forms to obtain "dope"; Carl Linville, Galen Linville and John ICahill, conspiracy to counterfeit; Jos-le.ph Jos-le.ph John MacNell, forging a signature; signa-ture; G. B. Hilton, counterfeiting; John j J. Boyd, possession of opium and counterfeit coun-terfeit stamps; Stanley Cecil Gordon, impersonating an officer, and K. C. iWestfall, attempting to defraud I through the mails. Ogden cases are as follows; Wong Jim, charged with the possission of opium and cocaine; G. Abe, Japanese, operating still; Stanley Cecil Gordon, impersonating secret service officer, and Wong Ark, charged with the possession pos-session of opium. |
