An invitation extended by the El Monte commandery of this city, for the convention to bo held here, has been accepted, according to word i which reached Ogden this morning. C- Richmond presiding Both morning and afternoon sessions were held and reports of officers were read; - "Last evening, beginning at 6 o'clock,! offlcers'elected in tho afternoon were! installed. The installation ceremonies j wore public, and at S o'clock the grand j commandery, with all visiting Sir, Knights and ladies, were the guests of TTf.'ili r'nmmnnr1rrv 7r 1 nnd Vir?-1 tory commandery No. 2, Salt Lake, at i a banquet served in the temple dining i room. The conclave concluded with i a dance at the Ladies' Literary club, house. The Knights were in full Tem-' plar uniform. I The following commandery officers were elected: j William J. Lynch, Salt Lake, grand eminent commander; George A. Graves, Ogden, grand deputy commander; com-mander; Warren Benjamin, Salt Lake, grand generalissimo; the Re.v. John E. Carver. Ogden, grand pcaptain-gen-1 oral; Daniel Konold. Park City, grand! senior warden; Ira H. Lewis. Ogden, grand Junior warden; Samuel Paul, Salt Lake, re-elected grand .prelate; W. F. Adams. Salt Lake, grand treas-. urer; W. A. Raddon. Park City, grand ' recorder. , Mr. Paul, who was re-elected pre-' late, was the first commander of this' grand commandery eleven years ago.
