Show Cool Temperatures " Cause River to Fall Cool temperatures of yesterday afternoon and last night caused the fall of the Ogden river to 4 feet 3 inches, according to measurements mado this morning by C. H. Martin, supervisor of city streets and parks. Tho measurements show that the flow has diminished three Inches since yesterday. yes-terday. River banks arc holding well at all pojnts. although some points are being subjected to a severe strain, Mr. Martin declared. There is now no danger of serious overflow unless the temperatures rises to an unusual degree. de-gree. This morning's measurement was made at the Washington street bridge. |
