Show Babe on Car Tracks Mas Narrow Escape Unnoticed by the motorman of a Twenty-first street car, two-year-old Fred Rabe, standing between the rails, was saved from possibly serious Injuries In-juries by his father, Fred C. Rabo, manager of Ridges' studio, when the elder Rabe ran in front of tho car, causing the motorman to sot his emergency emer-gency brakes, Mi Rabo went from his homo at 2020 Monroe avenue, to tho home of his fathor-ln-law, E. A. Stratford, Twenty-first and Monroe. And, unknown un-known to him, little Fred tracked behind. be-hind. Mr. Rabe said ho was working In tho Stratford backyard when ho felt a prc'monltlon to glance toward the car tracks. Ho was startled by the sight of his babe standing between tho car tracks, apparently unseen by the motorman, and the street car bearing down upon him. Vaulting tho fence, Mr. Rabe ran to the tracks and jumped in front of the car, then racing down the street, a.nd swooped the baby out of danger.
