Show ! i C. F. Dinsmore of Ogden Presides Pre-sides at Convocation of Royal Arch Masons With C. F. Dinsmore, of Ogden, presiding, pre-siding, the grand chapter of the Royal Arch Masons of Utah met in its annual an-nual convocation yesterday at the Masonic Ma-sonic temple in Salt Lake. Mr. Dins-moro Dins-moro is grand high .priest of the lodge. Among the interesting features of the morning session were tho report of Mr. Dinsmore and an address by the grand commander of the grand com-mandery. com-mandery. Knights Templar, F. C. Richmond. The annual convention of the order of high priesthood, was opened at 1 o'clock with H. J. Craven, president in the chair. At 3 o'clock, the work of the grand chapter was resumed, the elfictlon of officers being the first matter of business. busi-ness. , Lee B. Wright was elected grand high priest, Dr. R. W. Fisher, deputy grand high priest; Dr. Warren Benjamin, Benja-min, grand king; George W. Lynch, grand scuibe; F. P. Sherwood, grand treasurer; Walter Daniels, grand secretary. sec-retary. At the evening session the newly elected officers together with those appointed, ap-pointed, were installed by C. F. Jennings, Jen-nings, past grand high priest, assisted by II. P. KIrtley, past grand high priest. , A most successful day's sessions were brought to a fitting close by a' banquet tendered tho officers and members of the grand chapter by tho two Salt Lake chapters. Tho post-prandal post-prandal exercises included addresses by Past Grand High Priests C. F. Jennings Jen-nings and C. F. Dinsmore, the present presiding officer of the grand chapter, Lee B. Wright, and by Companions the Rev. Bulkley of Michigan, and E. O. Leatherwood of Salt Lake. |
