Nsws has been received of the drowning drown-ing of thirteen men who were prospect log for oltinabsr In Presidio oounty Tessa, Thuraday, by a cloudburst. The men were la two parties, camp, ed ona mile apart In a dry ravlna known as Alamlnto oreek, lo which there had been no water for fifteen monthaon account of the drought. They were asleep at 10 o'clock when there waa a cloudburat ssveral milet up tha ravine. A volume of wetei twenty feet high washed down ths ravins and swept over the men In ths two camps before they were aware ol their dauger. Hla bodies have beea recovered.
