All of which shows that a few arrests can do much toward making mak-ing motoring a pleasure for the many instead of for the few. The good work must not be permitted to lag Those criminally careless 1 drivers who would make a speedway of the highway must be re minded at frequent intervals bv arrests and fines that the majority ' of the automobile owners are law-abiding citizens of gentlemanly : and sportsmanlike instincts ti whom the reckless speed fiend is an abomination.
